OverviewThe Agri Business and Farming Solutions (ABFS) focuses on farm advisory services, based on the needs of Indian farmers which is soil and plant specific nutrient solutions. The ABFS initiative of marketing the farm produce in the right market place ensures a better price for the farmers.
ABFS has initiated an advisory based ‘Mahadhan Saarrthie’ concept, to provide agri solutions under one roof, therby enriching the lives of Indian farmers. Mahadhan Saarrthie aims to provide total agri-solutions through soil, water and plant testing facilities vis a vis complete crop nutritional management, utilising its range of plant nutrient products which include secondary and micronutrients in addition to the primary nutrient (NPK). The aim is: To provide a complete basket of agri-solutions and techno-commercial services To ensure higher yields for identified crops To make farmers globally competitive To provide valuable information pertaining to selected crops from its library
The first centre was launched at Manchar in Pune District on October 12, 2005, followed by eight centres located in various regions in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka. DFPCL plans to open 30 more centres in the coming 3 years.
